we’ve decided on a stripes theme, obviously, for Wolf’s first birthday which is a little over six weeks away. while on the hunt for some birthday-worthy duds, I came across this bright collection from Kidscase. I love those little tanks so much.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: there’s nothing cuter than a baby in stripes. this little one in particular does them quite well. the kind folks at Polarn O. Pyret sent Wolf a set of the eco-stripe leggings and top in their classic red and white stripes. and in perfect timing – they are the cutest for the holidays! yesterday when he had them on I kept thinking he looked like a little Santa and all he needed was a hat and fluffy white beard. the little clothes from PO.P are so soft and cozy. is it too much that I’m considering these leggings as pjs for myself?
Wolf has a few pairs of socks from PO.P as well and they are the best. they actually stay on his busy feet when everything else seems to fall off.

you guys probably have me pegged as a stripe addict already, so confessing that I’m excited to dress my little man in stripes that just *might* match mine might not seem too crazy… or does it? hehe.
hop over to Babble to see three mama and baby striped outfits I put together.

gah! I can not look past stripes when browsing baby clothes.

sometimes I feel like a blogger cliche with how often I post about stripes. but I just can’t help myself. I love stripes! besides, tiny stripes for baby? seriously… what could be any cuter?
lots of cute stripes at nature baby

it’s no question that I like stripes. navy and white stripes in particular. I just got this dress {on sale!} from Asos – who has a great maternity section I might add. I really like it but I’m not sure what constitutes it as “maternity”. it’s a bit snug but at least it’ll fit me after I’ve had the little man! and my oh my… I love this wee striped shirt too. it’s definitely one of my favorite things we’ve gotten for our little man. in fact, I have the matching shirt in my “pre-pregnancy size” but sadly it doesn’t fit over my belly anymore. {and yes before you ask, I do plan to be one of “those moms” who takes a mandatory photo of us in our matching shirts.}
depending on what site or book I’m looking at, I’m either in the last week of my second trimester or the first of my third. I’m counting week 28 as officially in the third but regardless, I feel like I’m definitely in the final stretch and my body feels it too. but I’ve been walking almost every day and practicing yoga as often as possible. middle back aches – be gone!
three more months, little man!!
