I just adore everything from Colette Bream.

I just adore everything from Colette Bream.

a few weeks ago, Wolf got a new mobile that we hung over his crib. remember his previous jungle creatures mobile that my Dad had custom made for him in the Philippines? we’ll… we’ve been working together, emailing and sending samples back and forth for a few months now and we’re really close to finalizing a forest creatures version that we hope to offer for sale soon. Wolf’s pretty stoked about the new mobile. we are, too!

I’m not a quilter, though I kinda wish I was. I’d love to make a quilt for Wolf. but for now I’m dream about pretty quilts like this one from Annamal.

I’ve been pretty picky about the mobile for our baby’s room. therefore, I decided to try my hand at making one. here’s a sneak peek of my bugs.

our rocker finally arrived yesterday! I purchased this vintage Mid-Century rocker on ebay almost a month ago and have been patiently awaiting its arrival. the owner had to disassemble the chair to ship it to us and the top part arrived last week. even though they were both coming from New Jersey, somehow the base ended up in Alabama and sat there for a few days {urg!} but it finally made its cross-country journey and landed in Portland yesterday morning! it’s seriously the most comfortable thing EVER. it’s got a glider style rock and the cushions are perfect. now all I need is a little table to sit next to it. {and a little baby to rock in it!}
{and yes, I’ve been getting quite a bit of wear from my striped dresses!}

I’ve spotted that I want for the baby room, you know… for the baby of course.
twinkle clock // W block // rabbit print // storm cloud onesie // polar bear // squirrel print // happy camping blanket // wooden abc blocks // liam the fox
and psst… 10 things I’m NOT going to miss about being pregnant.

the rocker that I purchased for the nursery is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow! I’m really excited and have been browsing for a cute little pillow to place on it. I love these animal pillows from Kate Durkin, especially that red fox.
