when i was pregnant with calder i gently requested only stripes or solids when buying clothes for him. the look has stuck. it’s pretty nearly all he (and i, for that matter) ever wear.
the stripes/solids rule kept things cute and helped me dodge the pink/blue/saccharine critter wardrobe.
